Team Lead for Cyber Defence Center team - itm8 - Philippines

The Cyber Defence Center (CDC) under the Cyber Security Division at itm8 A/S is growing and expanding. We are therefore searching for an experienced leader for a new Team Lead position in the Philippines.

You will report to the Head of Security Operations and be responsible for leading our team of Cyber Security Analysts as well as developers and consultants at this location. The team is working with performing Cyber Security alert-triage, monitoring, investigating and responding to Cyber Security threats, intrusions and similar, while our developers maintain our internal systems and consultants onboards new customers and helping keeping configurations safe.

As Team Lead for the CDC team in the Philippines, you will be responsible for:

• Inspiring and developing the team: Creating a motivating culture with room for both high professionalism and down-to earth mentality.

• Ensuring daily operations: Engaging the team and ensure delivery in a timely manner according to our frameworks.

• Coaching and Sparring: Be a strong support for your team and develop them through advice and collaboration.

• Driving improvements: Work with time planning and shift scheduling and partake in developing and implementing initiatives.

• Being a culture bearer: Be a lighthouse in maintaining an “itm8 purple”-culture where understanding and commitment for international, and especially Danish, customers are in focus.

You will be part of our CDC with over 50 focused specialists, responsible for rapid detection and handling of Cyber Security related events, alerts, and indicators.

The team also perform SIEM/IDPS (amongst others) monitoring, visitation and triaging incident response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Scanning and Management. And last but not least we perform advisories on threats, security posture analysis and more, internally and for customers.

In the CDC we have implementation specialists responsible for implementing and configuring solutions, and advisors helping our customers with e.g. recommendations, reports and more.

We are proud of being an accredited TF-CSIRT team under Trusted Introducer, known for our strong focus on best practices, thorough documentation, and the use of industry standards, including frameworks and maturity models.

In order to be a success in the role it is important that:

You have experience with Cyber Security and IT in general preferable from an international company, as well as leading technical focused teams. You have a good knowledge and experience in process-oriented IT management (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001) and you are fluent in English – both spoken and written.

• Already live in Dumaguete or is willing to move there.

• Maintain a clear overview and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Are responsible and work in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
